ANTIQUEÑOS ON NATIONAL TV (JOSHUA OLIVEROS)

JOSHUA OLIVEROS
THE VOICE KIDS SEASON THREE GRANDCHAMPION

A young boy from Antique who wants to use his talent to improve his parents' relationship, first caught the attention of Broadway star Lea Salonga when he belted out "Habang May Buhay" for his blind audition. While it failed to impress Bamboo Mañalac and Sharon Cuneta, his performance was enough to earn him a spot in the next round.
Joshua Oliveros, dubbed the "Hopeful Son ng Antique," has been named grand champion of the third season of "The Voice Kids" on Sunday, August 28,2016, at Resorts World Manila.Oliveros, who got into the finals after garnering 56.15 percent of votes in the semi-finals, edged out the competition with his rendition of Yeng Constantino's "Salamat."
Joshua hails from the humble and peaceful town of Hamtic, Antique. He is 13 years old and a young boy with big voice and heart.

Together with his coach, Lea Salonga, Joshua reached his dreams. Well after all, that was just the beginning. Appearances on TV, guesting and a lot more were this boy's routine everyday since he won the said competition.

This kid has a simple wish. He just wanted to join The Voice Kids so that he could help his parent get back together and fix their broken family. Through his sacrifice and perseverance, that simple wish came true, and with a bonus. He was name champion of The Voice Kids Season 3, and the first ever Antiqueño to dominate a national competition on TV. By that, he serves as an inspiration to all those youths dreaming high and aiming for that mark that could uplift their living. God bless Joshua. God bless Antique.
